Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated TGT Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that encourages scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and logical reasoning among middle and secondary school students. You will manage both classroom lectures and practical laboratory assignments to make science interactive and easy to understand. [1, 2, 3]
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Delivery: Teach Physics, Chemistry, and Biology concepts to Classes 6β10 in alignment with the school curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, or State Board). [1, 2]
- Lesson Planning: Develop structured, engaging daily lesson plans, teaching aids, and multi-media presentations. [1, 2, 3]
- Laboratory Supervision: Conduct safe and interactive practical experiments in the science lab to demonstrate theoretical concepts. [1, 2]
- Assessments & Evaluation: Design question papers, assignments, and tests. Regularly evaluate student performance and maintain detailed academic records. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Remedial Teaching: Identify students struggling with specific topics and provide extra guidance or remedial classes to help them improve. [1, 2, 3]
- Parent-Teacher Interaction: Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to provide constructive feedback on student progress, behavior, and academic needs. [1, 2]
- Co-curricular Support: Help organize science fairs, exhibitions, quizzes, and inter-school academic competitions. [1, 2, 3]
Key Requirements & Skills
- Educational Qualification: Bachelorβs Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, or Zoology.
- Professional Qualification: A mandatory B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree from a recognized university.
- Eligibility Test (Highly Preferred): Clearing CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) Paper 2 or relevant State TET is required for government and top-tier private schools.
- Experience: 2β5 years of teaching experience as a TGT Science teacher in a reputed school. (Freshers with exceptional subject knowledge can also be considered).
- Subject Command: Deep understanding of basic scientific principles, formulas, and textbook concepts up to secondary school level.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for effective classroom handling and presentation.
- Tech-Savvy: Ability to handle smart boards, educational apps, digital simulations, and online grading platforms.
